The House of Hope Centre will be situated in a town called Soshanguve, 25 km outside of Pretoria, South Africa. Soshanguve has approximately 600,000 residents. It is estimated that 7500 children are affected by HIV/AIDS, whether infected, orphaned, supporting a sick parent, displaced, raised by child-headed households or on the streets. The development of the centre will be project based. Projects include acquiring the ground, building the after-school centre, building the conference / kitchen block, developing the food gardens and sports fields. We will be listing the projects as they develop on the website.
